This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your conduct when using Trivialism trivia game across all platforms (web, mobile, and Discord). This policy supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Expected Conduct
We want all players to enjoy a safe and fair experience. You agree to:
- Treat other players with respect.
- Play fairly and honestly.
- Report bugs, exploits, or abusive behavior through our reporting tools.
- Follow platform-specific rules (Discord Community Guidelines, App Store guidelines).
2. Prohibited Conduct
2.1 Harassment and Abuse
- Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Post hate speech, slurs, or content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
- Engage in doxxing (sharing another person's private information without consent).
- Send unwanted, repeated, or spam messages.
2.2 Cheating and Exploitation
- Use bots, scripts, macros, or other automated tools to gain an unfair advantage.
- Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics.
- Share or sell accounts, in-game items, or virtual currency outside the Service.
- Deliberately lose or manipulate game outcomes (match-fixing).
- Use multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards.
2.3 Harmful Content
- Post or transmit content that is illegal, obscene, pornographic, or excessively violent.
- Share content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or dangerous activities.
- Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful software.
- Post spam, phishing links, or deceptive content.
2.4 Impersonation and Fraud
- Impersonate another user, staff member, or any other person or entity.
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
- Attempt unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
2.5 Illegal Activity
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
- Facilitate unauthorized gambling or wagering.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
3. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning: A formal notice of the violation.
- Temporary suspension: Restricted access for a defined period.
- Permanent ban: Permanent removal from the Service.
- Content removal: Offending content removed without notice.
- Legal action: Referral to law enforcement where required by law.
4. Reporting Violations
If you witness a violation of this policy:
- Use the in-game Report button on the offending user's profile or message.

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We do not disclose the identity of reporters.
